An internet virus has infected at least a million computers worldwide and infected a third of all PCs, the FBI and the World Health Organization say.
The virus has not yet reached the U.S.
Affected countries include the U and UK, China, Japan, Germany, France, India, Malaysia, Netherlands, Singapore, Turkey, and Ukraine.
It has infected about 12 million computers and infected more than 4.5 million users.
That makes it the largest cyber attack to date, according to the FBI.
The WHO has said the virus could cause an estimated 1.4 million deaths in 2020.
The World Health organization said in its report on the outbreak that it was not yet known how many people were infected.
It said it was unclear whether the virus had spread through computer networks or by way of mail or spam.
The U.K. government said it would deploy additional staff and equipment to combat the virus, which was first detected in March and then spread to other countries, including the U, UK and Germany.
