The G2670 is a successor to the G2700 and G2750 processors that debuted in the G1750, and while it is based on the same architecture, it is a bit more advanced and features an improved graphics card (GTX 970).
The G2600 is also coming later this year.AMD is releasing a new FX-series processor codenamed “Eagle”, with an estimated price tag of $200.
The new processor is built on the 14nm process found in the 28nm FinFET process.
The E14 will be based on a 14nm Finfet process, and is expected to have 8 cores, 12 threads, and a maximum turbo clock of 2.6GHz.
The AMD FX-Series processors will be available in the mid-range of prices starting at $200 and reaching up to $400.
The price of the new processors has not been announced, but we’ve heard rumors of the price at $150, $200, $250, $300, and even $400 in the past.
The latest rumor is that the new FX chips will be built on a 28nm process.
That makes sense given AMD’s desire to build processors based on 14nm for the foreseeable future, but it’s still unclear when we’ll be able to see the new chips in the flesh.
